1. Acceptance

The Service uses Google OAuth2 for authentication. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from unauthorised access to your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account at any time, with or without notice, for any reason including violation of these terms.

4. Pricing & Free Tier

mkdshare.DEV is currently provided free of charge. We reserve the right to introduce pricing, modify the free tier, or charge for features at any time. We will provide reasonable notice of any such changes where practicable. Continued use of the Service after pricing changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the new pricing.

5. Your Content

You retain ownership of the content you publish on the Service. By publishing content, you grant mkdshare.DEV a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, display, and deliver that content as necessary to operate the Service.

You are solely responsible for the content you publish. You must not publish content that:

  • is illegal or facilitates illegal activity;
  • infringes any third party's intellectual property, privacy, or other rights;
  • is defamatory, harassing, threatening, or abusive;
  • contains malware, spam, or deceptive material; or
  • you do not have the right to share.

We reserve the right to remove any content at any time, without notice, at our sole discretion.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Service. Prohibited activities include, but are not limited to:

  • scraping or harvesting data from the Service in bulk without permission;
  • attempting to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure;
  • using the Service to send unsolicited communications;

7. Data & Availability

We do not guarantee that your documents will be stored indefinitely or that the Service will remain available. We may suspend, discontinue, or delete data at any time. Keep your own copies of anything important. We are not responsible for any loss of content or data.

8. Privacy

By using the Service you acknowledge that we collect basic account information (name, email address, profile picture) via Google OAuth2 in order to operate the Service. We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We may disclose data if required by law. As a user, you may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.

9. Marketing & Logo Use

By using the Service, you grant mkdshare.DEV a non-exclusive, royalty-free right to identify you or your organisation as a user of the Service and to display your name and logo in marketing materials, on our website, and in promotional content. If you wish to opt out of this, please contact us and we will remove your details.

11. Intellectual Property

All rights in the Service itself — including its design, code, and branding — are owned by mkdshare.DEV and its operators. Nothing in these terms grants you any rights in the Service beyond the limited right to use it in accordance with these terms.

12. Third-Party Services

The Service relies on third-party providers including Google (authentication) and Render (hosting). Your use of those services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices or content of third-party services.

13. No Warranties

mkdshare.DEV is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranty of any kind — express, implied, or statutory. We make no guarantees about uptime, reliability, data durability, or fitness for any particular purpose.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, mkdshare.DEV and its operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of — or inability to use — the Service. This includes, without limitation, loss of data, loss of access to documents, or service interruptions. Our total aggregate liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim (which, if the Service was free, is zero).

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless mkdshare.DEV and its operators from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these terms.

16. Governing Law
