Hi, I'm Philip
Builder of mkdshare.DEV
I'm a developer and product person with a habit of reaching for markdown whenever I need to write something down.
I built mkdshare.DEV because I kept running into the same small frustration: I'd write notes, docs, specs, or internal posts in markdown and then struggle to share them cleanly. Technical people were fine reading raw markdown, but non-technical stakeholders needed something rendered. And when I wanted feedback, there was no good way for anyone - technical or not - to comment directly on the document.
So I built the tool I actually wanted: a dead-simple place to publish markdown documents, with just enough access control to decide who gets to read them. Technical readers get clean, well-rendered markdown. Non-technical readers can highlight any part of the document and leave inline annotations, no coding knowledge required, no accounts needed to read. You can keep something private to your team's domain, share it with specific people, or make it fully public.
I also wanted a seamless way to work with documents straight from Claude Code - so mkdshare ships with an MCP server, letting you create, update, and share documents without ever leaving your terminal or AI assistant.
If you've ever wanted to share a markdown file without the mess, this is for you.
