Cowork MCP Markdown Sharing

Connect mkdshare to Cowork. Your agents can publish specs, plans, and reports as shareable links, and read the comments reviewers leave inline.

How Cowork connects to mkdshare

Cowork supports remote MCP servers as connectors. Point it at https://mkdshare.dev/mcp and sign in with Google when prompted — mkdshare supports OAuth, so no manual token handling is required.

Step 1 — Add the mkdshare connector

In Cowork, open Settings → Connectors, choose Add connector, and fill in:

Name: mkdshare
URL: https://mkdshare.dev/mcp

Cowork opens a Google sign-in window the first time the connector is used. Sign in with the account you use on mkdshare.dev.

Step 2 — Verify the connection

Start a session with the mkdshare connector enabled and ask:

Use mkdshare to list my documents.

Example workflows

Write a spec for this feature and publish it on mkdshare restricted to @mycompany.com. Return the link.
Publish a markdown progress report on mkdshare and share the link in the project channel.
Read the annotations on mkdshare document abc123 and apply the requested changes.
Summarize this working session as a markdown handoff and publish it on mkdshare with a 7-day expiry.

Troubleshooting

Tools not available in session

Check that the connector is enabled for the session and the URL is exactly https://mkdshare.dev/mcp with no trailing slash.

Sign-in loop or 401

Remove the connector and add it again to restart the OAuth flow.

Create a free account first, then add the connector in Cowork.
